This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to seventh ranked Chomutov (5-7) 79-50 on Sunday evening. Chomutov made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. It was a good game for international center Katerina Rokosova (194-1997) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Michaela Krejzova contributed with 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Chomutov's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Emma Merriweather (196-1998, college: ULM) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds and Sofie Kaducova added 10 points in the effort for Basket Ostrava. Chomutov moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Basket Ostrava still closes the standings with 12 games lost.
